Dr. Yogesh Kumar Srivastava works as Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Lucknow, Lucknow. He obtained his M.Tech. degree in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a Ph.D. in Photonics/Applied Physics from the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. During 2019-2022, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Center of Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT), NTU Singapore. He has an industrial experience of three years (2011-2014) as a Materials Failure Analysis Specialist at Finisar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He founded Ultrafast Terahertz Photonics Laboratory (UTPL) in 2023 at the Department of Physics, IIT Hyderabad. He has vast experience in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, optical pump terahertz probe spectroscopy, micro-nano fabrication and numerical simulations. His current research interests include ultrafast terahertz photonics, reconfigurable metamaterials, sensors, high- Tc superconductors, quantum materials, chalcogenide, topological insulators, MEMS, and THz spintronics.
