The Industrial Electronics and Drives Lab (IEDL) at IIT Hyderabad works on developing transformative technologies aimed at facilitating efficient and sustainable electrification in various sectors like transportation, manufacturing, and renewable energy. Towards this end, we focus on innovating in high performance drive systems for EV and industrial applications, efficient, compact and high-torque density electric machine designs, and power converters and control for robust and efficient renewable energy integration.
