Assistant professor in the department of biomedical engineering at IIT Hyderabad

Research

My research interests lie at the intersection of biology and physics, encompassing areas such as biomechanics, biophysics, systems biology, biomedical materials, and soft and active matter. These works involve multiscale modeling, first-principle calculations, and high-performance computing to explore different aspects of biology and bioengineering applications. Some of the example areas are in-silico physiological modeling, cell-ECM interactions, mechanics of cancer metastasis, individual and collective cell motility, pattern formation, mechanoregulation in embryonic development, bio-rheology, constitutive modeling of biomaterials, three-dimensional bioprinting, and drug delivery.

Please see the research page for more details.
