Description: Funding has been provided to establish a Center of national/international importance for innovation, research, and development in the newly emerging area of Cyber-Physical Systems. Several subcomponents are dealing with Smart buildings and structural health monitoring, Green ICT, Smart grids, Pervasive health care, Intelligent Transportation systems, Green buildings and data centers, and humanoid robots. The specific component dealing with sensing and sensor networks for infrastructure health monitoring was developed for the Center.
