Here is a brief introduction to my research areas.
Computational Heat Transfer
- Numerical modeling of heat conduction, convective transport, conjugate problems, extended surfaces,compact heat exchangers, phase change problems using Finite difference and High Accuracy Compact schemes.
- Thermal transport associated with manufacturing systems like cooling of optical fibers.
- Transport phenomena in Fires, Turbulent Forced convection flows.
- Numerical simulation of forced and mixed convection flows over heat source modules.
- Liquid cooling; Phase change materials; Nanofluids.
- Aero thermodynamic analysis of re-entry vehicles.
- Hypersonic Flows: Design and CFD analysis of Scramjet Propulsion system.
- The objective of stability analysis is to find the transition flow characteristics. Linear and Nonlinear stability analysis of flows with and without heat transfer to find the critical parameters using High accuracy numerical methods.
