• Manuscript formatting
    • Prepare all well analyzed data, figures and tables, etc
    • Prepare a comparative sheet of your values with reported values of same or similar systems(Excel file)
    • Atleast 7 drafts should be prepared with separate folders for future reference(Each next draft should be modified to have a better one). So, repeation of proof reading will enhance the quality of writing. So, it is expected that you have read the draft atleast six times.
    • Grammarly compilation: Maintain the tense as per our accepted rules within our group
    • Focus on each sentence, ask yourself that "Can I understand the meaning of the sentence ?"
    • Do not repeat the sentences
    • Check Authors' name, affiliation and email id
    • Font and format of Title, Sections, Subsections ( xx pt for text and xx pt/Bold for Sections)
    • Figure and caption: Each labelled figure should be one tiff file embeded in a single page with a page break and should be cited and placed in manuscript as well as SI increasing order wise, i.e, Figure 1, FIgure 2 or Figure S1, Figure S2.
    • Check the proper way to write the captions and references to these in manuscript as per the journal.
    • Follow same for Tables and Schemes
    • Axis label - A[cm]
    • Put proper units: Conductance in [mScm-1] and D in [10-8cm2s-1]
    • References - by Zotero: Do not forget to refer relevent papers from your own group
    • Do not use "space bar' frequently
    • Upload the agr, ppt, or any relevant files of corresponding figures which can be edited later.
    • Follow similar steps for supporting material
    • Pur page numbers in manuscript as well supporting material as per the requirement of journals
    • Single column format with out line numbers (Better to have journal specific template). This order can be maintained: Text, References, Tables, Figures, TOC graphics
    • TOC graphics: Give enough time to think of it; Do not just copy and paste the exhisting figures. This should represent the theme of the manuscript. Do not use the same figures as of manuscript
    • Finally - a report from tunitin


      Note: Please keep one word document file containing these instructions in the manuscript folder by
      highlighting the points that are compiled by you while preparing the 7th draft. Then your 7th draft will be my first draft.


    • Regarding abstract:
      • Extend the abstract towards may be 400 words
      • Focus on our adopted methods of calculations of various properties
      • One/two sentences from each of the properties
      • Experimental available data and comparison of our data
      • Outlook of the manuscript
