We employ advanced optical techniques to investigate ultrafast events in nanomaterials. Some of the experimental approaches we use include time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy, time-resolved pump-probe spectroscopy, and transient grating spectroscopy.
We welcome PhD, Postdoc, MS students to our research group ‘Ultrafast Science and Applications’ at the Department of Physics in the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India. Here we work together in the fields of ultrafast optoelectronics in nanoscience and nanotechnology. The goal of our research is to understand ultrafast carrier relaxation dynamics in nanomaterials and their applications. This is a wonderful team to start for multidisciplinary science since it integrates investigations of the principles of charge transport features along with the ideas of how we can apply these physical properties for numerous applications, including biomedical research. Because of our expertise in a number of optical techniques and our exploration of a wide range of low-dimensional condensed matter systems, our group encourages collaborations in this field.
