I broadly work on parallel and distributed systems. Currently, I am working on two broad areas:
In the area of parallel programming, I am interested in Lock-Free Concurrent Data-Structures and Software Transactional Memory. You can find a simple introduction to STMs here and a related PPT here.
In the area of distributed systems, I am currently exploring efficient smart contract execution in Blockchains. Currently, we are exploring these techniques in Hyperledger Sawtooth and Fabric.
If you have some interesting ideas in any of the above areas like designing efficient 'thread-safe' data structures or new blockchain network, I would like to know more about them. Feel free to contact me about them. Apart from this, I am also interested in the general broad area of parallel and/or distributed computing.
