Bio

Kotaro Kataoka is a Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, a Senior Researcher at Keio Research Institute at SFC, and the Science and Technology Fellow at the Embassy of Japan in India. He has been a member of Asian Internet Interconnection Initiatives (AI3) project and Widely Integrated Distributed Environment (WIDE) project for research on Satellite Internet, Post-Disaster Networking and etc. He worked in a joint research collaboration among Keio University, IIT Hyderabad, and many participating institutes from Japan and India, JST/JICA SATREPS "DISANET" Project between 2010 and 2012. He also served as a JICA Expert in JICA "FRIENDSHIP" Project (Phase 1) for facilitating Indo-Japan collaborations between 2012 and 2019.
