• Alexander von Humboldt fellowship for Experienced Researchers

    I have been an Alexander von Humboldt Experienced Researcher fellow. My host was Prof. Frank Klawonn, University of Applied Sciences, Wolfenbuttel, Germany. I spent three glorious summers during the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 at his DAPAR lab. It was during this time that Frank introduced me to this fascinating topic of the non-intuitive, and often counter-intuitive, issues in high dimensional data.


  • SAIA-NSP scholarship given by the Govt. of Slovak Republic

    I was a Fellow of the SAIA-NSP scholarship given by the Govt. of Slovak Republic between November 2007 - July 2008. My host was Prof. Radko Mesiar, Dept of Mathematics, Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, Slovakia. We worked on Fuzzy Implication based Fuzzy Partitioning and Characterizing Special Fuzzy Implications that play a role in Data Mining.
