AI Use Disclosure for CS5610
AI use for quizzes/exams
The following is applicable to the course CS5610 (Aug-Nov 2026)
for quizzes 3,4 and the final exam.
1. I will be preparing questions mostly on my own, with exceptions (if any)
coming from textbooks.
2. I will assess the difficulty level myself.
3. I will use ChatGPT Plus to (only) time the quiz and
modify (myself) until the fit for duration is comfortable, with a 5 min leeway
for quizzes and a larger leeway for the final exam.
Use in Quiz 1, Quiz 2: To be updated (but was discussed in class).
AI use for assignments
HW 3: Questions 2a,6,8,9,10 were created by ChatGPT
although I had 6 as an unused question from last year,
and had used a version of 8,9 last year.
There is an interesting point about this operation
which I shall explain via notes.
