Research Synopsis
It is " De-noising of a received signal having low SNR using Wavelet Analysis / Synthesis and its Architecture modeling in MATLAB and low complex architecture implementation using VHDL". This involved literature survey on usage & application of various wavelets for de-noising applications in RF communications like Altimeters, Cell-phones etc. The focus is de-noising of received signal having information content and noise, specifically in case of low SNR. The modeling / architecture design was involved DWT and IDWT architecture implementation for various wavelets for the intended purpose and finalizing the best choice in view of Signal having Low SNR and Low complexity of Hardware requirement. MATLAB models were developed for various wavelets and one model finalized based on MATLAB results and implementation is being done in VHDL.
